I am so proud of me!!

I did it! I was shakin, but I had an instant good "vibe" with the guy I talked to - he's about my age and worked for the state 2 years longer... we empathized with each other instantly - and I have now filed an official complaint with the Division of Human Rights for discrimination and harassment of a person with a disability. PTSD is considered a disability under the Americans w/Disabilities something or other - according to the Sr. Attorney of the Commission of (he has a really long title, but this is how it starts and ends..) and Advocacy for persons with a disability. And that man knows his stuff, I must say. I have a lot of regrets in my life - but not going outside my safety zone and fighting what's right this time isn't gonna be one of them. Win or lose, I will have done absolutely all I can do. He said it's gonna be more or less 2 months before we know much... but I feel good.

I think they may have underestimated this mountain man's daughter just a tiny bit. We shall see and tonight I feel strangely calm.

Yeah you. This is wonderful! An attorney once said that the best way to get a anyone to do what is right is to make it easier than doing what is wrong. Lawsuits are tough. The other thing he warned about was that legalities are more beneficial for those who come after you. All that means that you are fighting not only for youself but for all those who don't have the strength to fight. The stuff that heroes are born from.

Be well.
