Much easier to type on a tiny keyboard when you have short fingernails. Mine had just gotten nice for the holidays but had to be sacrificed to be able to blog *grin* and be able to get online to pay my mortgage. SO yeah.. my computer died during the upgrade. Who knows why but it ticks me off they wouldn't even offer me a free month of HBO for the "inconvenience". So I'm gonna suck it up for now, at least I have a laptop to get me thru. But now my house phone doesn't work (they upgraded everything, phone, cable and internet all to digital), but I'll get to that later.
For now, I just want to bask in the delight that is early morning, WEEKDAY shopping at the super walmart. There are no crowds, you actually don't mind taking your time and browsing - oh what fun to not have to work! I hadn't planned on turkey this year, but there was a "todays special" on Butterball turkey breasts for lesss than $5 each - I bought two -they were half price, how could I resist? Cook one and freeze one. AND I found a cute little 3 slice cheesecake sampler for a couple bucks and I had to get that too. Yum. I'll be feasting in royal style come Thursday.
Ok, guess I better quit basking and call the cable company. Again. Those people are really startin' to ruin my holiday buzz. Just sayin'.

Yay for the free month of HBO! Really wish I could afford cable, but I make do with DVD's that I can buy cheaply. Found storage containers that hold 96 DVD's and got rid of a humongous amount of cases today. Cut up some old shipping boxes as I wrapped presents. Also cleaned out the refrigerator and freezer. I feel like I've accomplished so much today ... thanks for sharing your energy. :) xxoo
