Well....

I don't have a clue where this is gonna go.. but I've just recently found out that for the past 4 years, all they've done with the paperwork my doctor sends is put it in a file. No one that "matters" ever gets to see it because of the privacy laws. Huh???? But this time I hand delivered the paperwork to the people I wanted to see it, and we've finally made some of the "important people" at work realize they have a tiny little problem here.. and a potential lawsuit. And they're tryin' to pretty much fix it quickly and quietly... but I'm not yet sure what that's gonna mean, but one thing I DO know is I won't have to stay in THIS hateful job much longer.... I've actually even been asked my input as to where I'd LIKE to work this time! Imagine that! Hell most certainly must have frozen over. Not that it will matter in the end.. but it was nice to be asked. 6 moves in 5 years and they never asked me before.. and for the record cuz someone wrote something to me once about it basically saying I was some kind of loser to be moved so many times, but none of those moves were ever for anything I did wrong. In all the years I've worked here, I've never had one bad writeup or evaluation, nothing. The moves are done for "departmental needs" (or if they're really trying to get rid of your union job) and apparently that's all the explanation they ever have to give. Well.. that and 24 hours notice before you move.....

In other news... I continue to watch the deer in the field across from my house, the mama I showed you a picture of has a teenage girl and a wee little baby with her now... but this morning just down the road, I saw a small "herd". There were about 7 or 8 good size deer - they were pretty far back toward the trees, but plenty close enough for me to watch them...... and i saw something I've never ever seen before in the wild, I saw my very first albino deer! There were 7 or 8 regular ones and one absolutely pure white. It was awesome. I tried to get a picture before they ran off but they were too quick... but you can bet I'm gonna be doin' a stake out this weekend dawn and dusk and try to get a picture of that gorgeous creature!

Stay tuned :)

I truely do hope this all turns out for you. It seems that things are moving in the right direction. Good luck with your deer stalking, I hope you get a good picture of her.

They just stuck everything in your file?! Sheesh! I'm glad to hear that they are paying attention now, though.

I hope you're able to get that picture - I'd love to see it!

When I think about all the years that passed with no one looking at those reports, it makes me a little bit sick. What were they thinking????

I move around a lot, too. It has nothing to do with ability or lack thereof. It's just that I'm sometimes needed elsewhere. That's just the way it works.
