To each their own perch...

And this is what I get to watch from my perch on my living room couch *grin*. I put that feeder right near the window so miss kitty can have something fun to watch too. Those birds LOVE those seed blocks and there are often several varieties of birds pecking on it at the same time. And they fight for seed, and share their seed... they come in singles and pairs... parents and babies... they come in reds and yellows and blues. So interesting to watch.

Anyway... I got a lot done yesterday... big girl stuff involving car maintenance, inspections and such. Cool thing was the service lady at the car place was a GIRL and us girls stick together so she got me good prices and gave me a coupon discount for a coupon I didn't even have. Niiiice :) So I got all that done, went to the carwash and grocery. Then I wandered through some garage sales and got a cool old aluminum kool-aid kind of pitcher (to put dried flowers in), an OLD but cool apron - the kind that goes over your head and ties in the back, some cloth napkins and a couple of fresh catnip toys (that miss kitty totally and completely ignores). I spent the grand sum of $4.00 for those goodies... then off to the post office to pick up my newest goodie - a new bb gun pistol. A high velocity, rapid shooting, bad boy. Yeah, I'm a danger. Me and my BB gun. Watch out ::laughing:: The groundhogs are long gone thanks to brother Al-vis, so the bb gun is just for fun really (and because I have to use up the 6000 BBs I already have)... and have mercy i almost bought a holster for it at the garage sale :::laughing::: but I maintained some control and kept walking :)

So now we have today... I cut my thumb on some glass yesterday and it's botherin' me today so I don't think I'll do any yard work. I just don't know WHAT I'm gonna do today. The cool thing is I can do whatever I want or nothin'. I suspect this is what retirement is gonna be like and I can't wait.

Enjoy your day - we are blessed.

Nice picture, there! I've just got a bunch of seagulls flapping around here these days. Not nearly as enchanting a sight...
