Maybe tomorrow.

So much for the deer stalking before dawn because a miracle occurred and I actually slept in until 7:30 this morning. I haven't been feelin' great the last day or two.. can't describe it, but just not good. But I was hungry and have been thinking all morning of what i'd like... and it was Chinese food.. all the way. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So after several hours of thought and a lot of drool, I pried myself away from the couch and ventured out 'cuz one thing I can't stock up on is Chinese food and I have less ambition today than a sloth.

So on the way, I decide I don't really feel great and don't want heavy Chinese.. but shrimp egg rolls.. yes indeedy! That IS what I wanted for sure! Until 2 minutes later when I got there and decided I didn't want Chinese food at ALL.

So I went to the tiny local grocery. I said to myself "Self, whatever you see that you like, just go with it cuz that's what you're body is telling you it wants."

Okkaaayy then. I left the store with a single serve salad, two giant bags of potato chips (and I don't even LIKE chips, never buy them - but they were on sale buy 1 get 1 free - did I have a choice?), one chocolate donut and a 12 pack of beer. (and I so totally noticed the guy behind me so noticing what I was buying. I think I'm his kind of girl hehehe). Anyway.

So what, pray tell, is my body tryin' to tell me with that combo? I think I better just go back to the nice little couch and take another little nap before I get any other great ideas...

Heck - I give you bonus points for the salad! There have been plenty of hot summer nights when cold beer, warm chips and a chunky salsa were my idea of a perfect dinner!

Maybe its trying to tell you that your hunger and yuck feeling has nothing to do with food. When that happens try some soup (just open up a can, I know, but do it) and some toast with butter. Then find a comfy spot and read a book, no TV. See what your body tells you then. Hope you feel more like yourself soon.

Sounds like football fare to me and I don't even like the game. I LOVE egg rolls! Sister N calls them 'garbage rolls' cause they have cabbage and stuff in them. Pooh on her! xxoo
