I made it!!

And I'm so darn proud of myself I can hardly stand it! My trusty GPS led me right up the holler and I am STILL amazed! I'm SUPERWOMAN! This was such a huge test of strength and faith to myself and I passed with flying colors! All your good thoughts and prayers paid off - the weather was great and the trip went MUCH easier than I thought. And honestly, up until the moment I woke up Wednesday morning, even I didn't know if I'd really be brave enough to go or not.... but here I am. And as soon as I post this, I'm gonna go find someone to help me with a dulcimer refresher lesson :)

It wasn't easy to find a network connection down here, but I was talkin' to a guy and asked him to help me and he showed me a secret wifi. Cool! Even if I am sittin on the ground and can hardly see the screen for the sun - still - it's wifi and it's all good *grin*. And I gotta tell ya about this - believe it or not, there's a chinese food place in Glenville. I'm totally amazed - anyway - long story short - I got a fortune cookie last night. Those fortunes always have a word to practice in chineses, usually "flower" or something equally as useful. This time... my word was "father". I was stunned. And not only that... on the other side, the fortune said something like "be happy in doing what others say you cannot do". Amazing.

Dad is doing good - and I am amazingly and abundantly blessed.

Glad to hear you made it. We all knew you could.

Good to hear your dad is doing well.

Enjoy your time while you are there and your time with your dad.

I'm glad to hear you made it there safely (although I never doubted you would).

When I was pregnant with my daughter, the fortune in my fortune cookie said "You will soon meet a short stranger." I saved that for the longest time; wish I could find it now.

Enjoy your time with your father!

It's a fact - YOU ROCK! I am so damn glad the drive went so well and you had such a positive experience! Just think, you could be solo road-tripping to any place you ever dreamed of driving to! And what about that little trailer you were dreaming of a while back? Hmmmm????

Good for you! I envy you sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. It's raining here and I am too tired from my day with the students to go out anyway.

Enjoy!!!

Glad your angel got you there safely. I was praying for you the whole time. Now all you have to do is enjoy yourself and enjoy being with your Dad. What a great fortune too, couldn't have been better at a time you needed affirmation that your trip should be now. xxoo

My word verification this time is PARYT ... that's a PARTY anyway you spell it. :)
