Well.

They haven't stolen dad's headstone from the graveyard yet... but ya never know... could be gettin' to that as we speak. God bless their souls. Take what earthly things make ya happy, cuz me and my heart "knows" ya can't take that to heaven... Although they probably don't have too much hope of actually goin' there at this point. Just sayin'. There's just some things that can't be undone.

But these kitties provide me mucho distraction... in case you were wondering. That little Gracie is somethin' else. She's still very delicate and petite, and faaaaast. What EVER made me think she was mello? Well, she does sleep with me like a good little baby kitty, but she still only weighs about 4 pounds - and when she plays with the big kitty - that's 4 solid pounds of West Virginia spitfire *grin*. Dad would be proud of my choice to bring that little stray home, although I did get to show him a picture of her before he passed and he *grinned* when he saw her eyes. This morning i actually witnessed a near miracle when big 'ole Lizzabella was actually grooming baby Gracie and there was purrrrring involved!!! Little Gracie herself is the biggest trouble though and I've actually with mine own eyes seen her do the most acrobatic backflips in front of Lizabella over and over again just to get the chase to begin....

But then just now.. and only a couple hours later.. I had to pull them off each other for a time out. ::sigh:: and last night I had to rescue baby Gracie who was hanging by one claw to my living room curtain and seemed to be stuck there....

Baby Gracie loves to travel with me too.. it's kind of cool cuz I get a lot of comments about her two different colored eyes, but it made it sort of funny when I went to get the oil change on my car and there was a litter box on the front floor and a little red leash on the seat. Yeah.. that's just how i roll... me and my fearsome 4 lb wildcat.

And I am blessed.

I'm so happy that Gracie is doing well and thriving. Hopefully you can post a picture of her one of these days (when she slows down).

I had my cat for 10 years when we got a new kitten. It was sort of...awful. My kitty hated the kitten. I swear it aged her a few years for those few months.
