Such an odd term...

I was just talkin' to someone about bread. I wanna bake some this weekend. A very dear woman is retiring from work and i always brag about my bread but have never made it. So I think I will. But I was also talkin' about homemade honey butter to go with... and I heard these words come out of my mouth "when I was married, we raised honeybees". I cannot explain... but it destroyed me. After all this time.

Have I said this before? I can't remember.

Grief is a strange thing. While everybody deals with it differently, one common thread is that it can randomly, without warning, just walk up and knock you down to the ground, leaving you gasping for breath, sobbing, or desperately looking for some way to relieve the pain. Don't even bother asking me how I know this, you already know me well enough!

That probably doesn't help much! But at least you know you are not alone. And you are loved.

Of course it hurt. Loss never totally heals and you touched the scar. Hope the hurt didn't hang around too long.
