How CUTE is this place? Kellish Hill Farm is where the dulcimer festival was - acres and acres of beautiful hillside, a breezy sunny day in the mid 70s.... awesome... and one of my dulcimer workshops was inside this little log house. It was amazing. I could have spent the day just checking out this place!
You'll see all manner of stringed instruments at dulcimer gatherings... I wish I had bothered to take more pictures (or a better camera) - mountain dulcimers, hammered dulcimers, harps, psalterys - you name it... it was there.
Right down to the washtub bass. How can you not love it?? I was talkin' to this guy and askin' him what he figured his monetary investment was... hehehe
We decided other than the pain of a few blisters, it was very little. *grin* But it was cool. And at the end of a long day of music, fresh air and fun... even the toughest washtub rope eventually wears out hehehe.... and it was fun.
