Tacos and Tractors

The tacos are what's for lunch and yes, I'm making the tortillas myself thank you very much. Because I can. (After a whole lotta practice*grin*) And I deserve a treat 'cuz I've been outside workin' hard all morning cleanin' up the yard. Then my weedeater ran out of line (I don't quite know yet how to add more, but I'll learn). So I quit and was headed in to make lunch and a neighbor on a tractor drove by and kindly asked if I'd like a garden tilled up. Um... "yes, please"! And half an hour later it was done. Amazing what a man and a tractor can do.. and let me just say... I still can't get the grin off my face 'cuz I was thrilled to death to have it done! (Hmmm, that didn't sound right.. hehehe but you know what i mean.)

But for now I gotta go. I wanted to try a picture on the new site and it looks like I'm still havin' the same issue with the pictures (have to resize them myself)... but anyway... taco beef is ready, I'm starvin' and I gotta get to the garden store asap. Thought you should know :)

Oooo..tacos sound good! I've been craving Mexican food lately, dunno why. Right now I'm dreaming of warm tortillas, chunky salsa, and an icy cold beer. 'Cause you know - you have to have Mexican beer with Mexican food, right???

You are so lucky! A neighbor with a tractor to till the soil for a garden? Love it! Now I'm wondering what you'll plant there. It seems like a lovely spot for lavender, rosemary and all kinds of sweet smelling herbs to make potpourri maybe? Or home grown veggies? Or flowers? OMG! I'm just looking at this spot and it's got me daydreaming about all kinds of growing things. :) Have fun with it. xxoo

when you upload the pic check the image size boxes right next to where it says "choose a layout. Check the size you want and see if that works

You lucky, lucky girl. I had to till my garden myself with a small tiller. It took hours even though it's not a manual!! And I still have weeds really bad. Worse than last year.
